Well, it has been a journey in just the few months this little one has been growing inside. We have had lots of doctors appointments and are thankful for each sonogram we have. Davy is now over a pound and almost ten inches long. We can feel him moving around and he loves to lay on Mommy's left hip, which is not the most comfortable position for Mommy but Daddy seems to have a way of making him move over. lol Little Davy already has quite the personality to him. He does not like it when he gets pushed on for any of the sonograms. He kicks and pushes like crazy when they push on him. When they try and get the perfect shot of his heart or face, he tends to wait till the camera is ready to go and then rolls over. lol I am sure he will be quite the handful with that attitude. Daddy said we are in for it if he gets a mix of his Dad's and Uncle Jimmy's attitude. We shall see.
Our doctor wants to deliver him C-section and we are gaining a second opinion from Dr. Coffey. We really don't want to miss the natural experience of him arriving in the world, plus we can't understand what the need is for a C-section since Mom has already had one natural since the last C-section.
All the doctors tell us we are doing well and seem very healthy. Fortunetly Mom has only lost weight and not gained any. She is sure that will change very shortly. Cravings still consist of Pineapple Coconut ice cream, sour crout, and salads. Everything gives Mom heartburn though. It will be nice when that goes away.
As the journey continues we will share our thoughts and feeling with all of you. Thank you for all the family and friends that have been so supportive and involved in such a wonderful time of our lives. We love all of you.
